Domino’s wedding
registry

To have and to hold, from this day forward,
till death do us part. The pizza, that is.

Hi-speed blenders. Fine china. Monogrammed towels. Porcelain ducks. Brides and grooms receive lots of wedding gifts that are rarely used, or even wanted. If you ask me, Domino’s pizza would be a much better present. So we created the first bridal registry devoted to delicious pizza, where couples can finally ask for something they both love as much as each other.

Some people register at Crate & Barrel, others go for Bed, Bath & Beyond. But we were the first to create a wedding registry for pizza. The Domino’s Wedding Registry was a completely functional e-commerce experience, allowing happy couples to designate different pizza packages they wish to receive from their wedding guests.

The campaign’s photographic language reflected the sophistication of the wedding industry. Working with photographer Paul Miller, we blurred the lines between reality and satire, elegance and cheese, to create iconic visuals that made you look twice, and come to grips with what you truly want for your wedding day.

From the digital space, the wedding registry exploded onto the IRL wedding scene at the largest wedding expo in the US. Soon-to-be-married couples browsing the convention for ideas stumbled upon our exhibit, which mirrored the registering experience at a big box retailer with the beloved scanner gun. Guests could create registries on the spot and scan different pizza packages to automatically add them to their accounts.
